Very effective against constipation laxative. The leaves and pods are sennosides, natural active ingredient that stimulates mobility mainly colon and regulates its operation.

Use: Pur in 100 ml water 2 tablespoons of dried leaves to simmer for half an hour and let it cool. Alternatively, in 100ml water, add 2 tbsp, of senna leaves and let it stay for 5-8 hours. Then strain and consume half a cup after supper.
For a milder effect and better tolerated by the body senna is great with cinnamon, cloves, ginger and other spices or herbs.
