Caraway Seeds
Caraway seeds was found in excavations of Neolithic excavations in Europe. The plant was known to the Egyptians, the ancient Greeks and Romans. In Europe they used it to add the seeds in fruit composts and jams, bread and other pastry. Also used for sweets or baked apples.
