For “electric” blue soap shades & candle surfaces
“Need a blue that switches on your design? Go Electric!”
Truly electric: a saturated, very intense, bright true blue with a crisp pearlescent finish. Mica pigments are natural mineral colorants refined and milled into ultra-fine powder—perfect for soaps
🔬 Evidence-Based Material Benefits
-
Colour stability in alkaline pH — ideal for cold process soaps.
-
Fine particle distribution for smooth, even dispersion and a clean pearly reflection.
-
Rich, saturated tone that resists greying over time.
📌 How to Use & Dosage
-
Cold Process (CP): 0.5–2% w/w (≈ 1–3 g/kg). Pre-disperse in glycerin or a light oil.
-
Hot Process (HP): 0.5–1.5% w/w, add at the finishing stage.
-
Melt & Pour (MP): 1–3 g/kg, pre-disperse in isopropyl alcohol or a little base.
-
Bath Bombs: 0.5–1% w/w, pre-mix with oil/polysorbate for even payoff.
-
Mica line / Dusting (surface): thin line between layers or light brush on a dry surface.
-
Candles (surface): rub/brush onto a dry surface for vivid shine & good adhesion. Not for mass colouring (may affect wick performance).
🧾 INCI
Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Ultramarines (typical declaration for intense blue mica shades; may vary by batch).
