There is NO Planet B!
Many children around the world do not have access to oral hygiene and dental care products. They don't have toothpaste and toothbrushes!
The Humble Smile Foundation, a group of dental experts and academics, is developing models where volunteer groups work with school staff to promote specific preventive oral hygiene initiatives. Their other activities include: Education, hand washing and oral care.
The Humble Smile Foundation provides comprehensive, sustainable preventive oral care to the most vulnerable children around the world. To cover this, in addition to donating Humble products, The Humble Co. provides a sum of money annually in proportion to that year's sales.
EVERY HUMBLE PURCHASE, then, goes to fund activities to benefit children in need!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE HAIR
At The Humble Co. we offer high quality toothbrushes without compromising our values of sustainability and making the world a better place.
People ask us why we use nylon and that answer is very simple. We seek balance in being as "green" as possible and offer even better quality than conventional toothbrushes. To date, nylon is the most effective and safest material for proper dental hygiene. Nylon was invented in the 1930s and first appeared on the consumer market to be used in toothbrushes. It is a strong, durable and hygienic synthetic material.
Synthetic ;! Not bad for the environment?!
No, but it's synthetic. Let's look at the type we use in our brushes. There are a few different types of polymer "nylon". The most common ones are nylon-6,6 and nylon-6. Although both types have the same proportions of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen atoms, they start with different polymer building blocks. This accounts for the difference in the polymer structure and physical properties.
We chose to use nylon-6 because it has a lower hardness (which is good for your teeth) and lower water absorption (which is good for keeping your brush hygienic) compared to other types of nylon. The carbon footprint of nylon is comparable to wool and the nylon-6 we use is biodegradable over time. We are proud to say that our bristles are produced by DuPont, the first major manufacturer of nylon bristles with over 70 years of experience.
In summary - a worry-free toothbrush!
Based in Sweden, The Humble Co. is leading a small revolution inpersonal care products from design to manufacturing with humility. We use 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly materials while protecting our planet.
