Tea with Greek Saffron from Kozani
Ingredients : (for 5 people)
1/4 teaspoon saffron stigmas (about 15 to 20 spots)
3 tablespoons honey
1.5 tablespoon lemon juice 5 cups water
5 teaspoons Indian tea leaves (Darjeeling)
2 seeds kakoules
In a kettle boil 5 cups of water and add 5 teaspoons. Remove the teapot from the heat and strain the tea. Add the kakoules, lemon juice, honey and egg.
Serve hot or cold with ice cubes.
