Octopus in wine sauce with thyme
Preparation Time: 75 min - Ingredients for 4 people:
1 pound octopus
500ml red wine
150ml olive oil
500ml water
pepper
1 tablespoon thyme
1 teaspoon cumin
15 grains of allspice
2 bay leaves
Execution:
Cut the tentacles of the octopus, wash and clean the belly and cut into four pieces. In a saucepan add the octopus and add water and let it cook. Once the water evaporates, add the wine and continue cooking. The octopus takes about 1 hour to cook. 15 minutes before the octopus is ready add the olive oil and spices. Lower heat and let the octopus become smooth. Serve with thyme.
