Goji berries cake with chocolate and vanilla

3 cups. flour, all-purpose
200g. Goji berries
1 sachet baking powder
250 gr. butter
1 ½ - 2 cups. sugar (depending on how sweet we like it)
5 eggs (separate yolks from the whites)
zest of 1 orange
juice of one medium orange
2- 3 vanillas
little salt, cinnamon
3-4 Tbsp milk
2-3 tsp cocoa


Grease and flour a cake tin and preheat the oven to 200 º. Arrange the Goji berries in a bowl with hot water, leave them for 10 minutes and drain. Beat the butter with the sugar for about ten minutes until they become smooth and a homogeneous mixture.Add the egg yolks and continue beating. Add the herbs, salt, orange zest, juice and beat for a while in the mixer. Mix the baking powder with the flour and add to mixture, stirring with a whisk and not the mixer. Add the milk, beat the egg whites with 1-2 drops of lemon juice and add meringue. Flour the Goji berries and add to mixture. Ttake a small quantity of the mixture and add to this the cocoa. Pour into mold (white dough, dough brown, white dough) and bake for 15 minutes at 180-200 º and 180 º for another 30 -45 minutes. We test if you are ready with the help of a knife. When cool, turn it upside down on a platter.
