Quinoa balls stuffed with cheese
Ιngredients:
~ 240 g red beans (one can)
~ 1 cup quinoa
~ 1 1/2 cup water
~ 70g tomato paste
~ 1 slice of bread
~ 3-5 tablespoons chopped parsley
~ 1 teaspoon thyme
~ 1 clove garlic
~ 1 teaspoon honey
~ 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
~ 1/2 teaspoon salt
~ 100gr cheese
Execution:
~ Preheat the oven to 180C.
Lay a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Put the beans in a colander, rinse and t 'leave to drain.
Boil water, add the quinoa and simmer for 10-15 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the quinoa to cool until you prepare the remaining ingredients.
Mash the beans in a food processor.
Add the tomato paste, the bread crumbs, parsley, thyme, garlic, honey, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
~ Muddle all ingredients and pour the mixture in the pot with the quinoa.
Knead well with your hand.
Cut the cheese or cheese 35 small pieces.
Take a large spoonful of the mixture and press into your palm to spread. Put in the middle of a piece cheese and close like shape into meatballs.
~ Place the balls on a baking tray and bake at 180C for about 25 minutes.
~ You can accompany it with salad or put them into Arabic pita with yogurt, chopped cucumber pickle and lettuce.
