Beef with honey, carrots and paprika
Ingredients - Recipe for 4 people
-1 Kg beef cut into cubes
-500ml beef broth
-50ml olive oil
-250g. carrots, cut into rings
-150ml red wine
Balsamico vinegar-30ml
-10g. smoked paprika
-1 Onion chopped
-1 Clove garlic, finely chopped
-1 Bay leaf
-1 Cinnamon stick
-1 Tablespoon tomato paste
-Salt
-Pepper
Execution:
Saute the beef in a pan with olive oil. When the liquid has evaporated from the beef, add onion, garlic and tomato paste. After you saute these, add the vinegar and wine and wait for the alcohol to evaporate. Add the spices and the beef broth and reduce heat. After about 45 minutes, add the carrots and let simmer. At the end remove the cinnamon stick and add the salt.
