Maltitol (starch product) based on corn, is used as a sweetener, its caloric value is about 70% lower than that of regular sugar. It also has a glycemic index about 50% lower than regular sugar. This means it does not raise blood sugar levels like regular sugar, so Proteinella is also suitable for diabetics.

It also contains fiber, which slows the absorption of sugars and thus further slows the increase in blood sugar levels.

Proteinella is made from sunflower oil and coconut oil and does not contain palm oil. It also has a great taste and smooth texture.
