DESCRIPTION

The above beneficial effects are ensured by a daily intake of 3 grams of beta-glucans from oats, oat bran, barley, barley bran or mixtures of these beta-glucans in combination with a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Try it in oatmeal cookies, cakes and other baked goods.

Oatmeal cookies with coconut sugar and chocolate drops

Ingredients

~ 80g oat flour ALL BIO

~ 75g wholegrain oat flakes ALL BIO

~ 3/4 tsp baking soda

~ 1/4 tsp. cinnamon keflan OLA BIO

~ 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

~ 1 large egg

~ 60g coconut sugar ALL BIO

~ 85g coconut oil Whole Foods

~ 60g chocolate drops or chopped couverture (best 70% cocoa)

EXECUTION

1. In a bowl, mix together the oat flour, oat flakes, coconut sugar, baking soda and cinnamon.

2. In another bowl, mix together the vanilla extract, egg and melted coconut oil. Pour the mixture into the bowl with the flour and mix well. Finally add the chocolate drops and mix. Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 170 oC air temperature.

4. Cover an oven tray with non-stick baking paper.

5. Using a spoon, take spoonfuls of the mixture and shape the balls with your hands. Make sure they are all the same, approx. 40 g each.

6. Lay them out on the baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes in the centre of the oven.

7. Take them out of the oven and let them cool a little, approx. 10 minutes before placing them on a rack to cool completely.
