DESCRIPTION

Spice that comes from the tree Eugenie Aromatica or Caryuphyllete. It grows in the Philippines, Sumatra, Madagascar, Jamaica, West Indies, Brazil and is also known as in Greek as moschokarfi. Its use goes far back in time, after archaeologists discovered cloves inside a container in Syria, dating from around 1700 BC!

Used in cooking and combined with cinnamon, ginger and it is a necessary ingredient in medicine especially for its oil.
