
It can be used internally in the form of a mouthwash, for inflammation and bleeding of the gums (gingivitis), the tongue (glossitis) or generalized inflammation of the mouth (stomatitis).
It is extremely effective for mouth ulcers. As gargling helps in the treatment of laryngitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis and peritonsillar abscess.
Used for indigestion.
Reduces perspiration when taken internally and can be used to reduce the production of breast milk.
Use: Pour 1-2 teaspoons in a cup of hot water for 7-10 minutes, strain and drink.
The beverage can be drunk 2-3 times a day.
External use: as compress promotes the healing of wounds. As a gargle for throat problems
Tip: Sage liqueur (made with 30 g leaves let eight days in 500 g. of Raki or alcohol)
