Chocolate Indulgence with nutritional values of the sea buckthorn!
What you will need:
500 gr. raising flour
250 gr. butter
2 cup. sugar (white granulated)
4 tbsp sea buckthorn pulp
5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup. fresh milk
Zest from the peel of an orange akerotou
2 tablespoons orange juice
Powdered sugar for dusting
Cocoa powder for dusting
Turn on the oven at 180 degrees to be preheated.
Allow the butter out to soften.
Beat sugar and butter in the mixer on high speed until they become a cream.
Add 3 eggs one by one.
Sift the flour and cocoa and add to mixture alternately with milk.
Finally add the orange juice and zest of orange peel.
Turn off the mixer and get 6 tablespoons of the mixture and put it in a different bowl. In this mixture, add the pulp of sea buckthorn and mix well
Grease a cake mold and pour in half the amount of the first mixture.
Then add the second mixture so as to spread across the surface. Mix a little with a fork to mingle few yeasts and not tear away.
Finally and pour the remaining dough. Again stir slightly.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes or more, if It's warm outside.
To check if the cake is ready take a toothpick and dipped in cake.
If when the draw is clean (not pieces of dough) then the cake is ready.
Wait at least half an hour to 45 minutes to get it out of the form.
When the cake isslightly cooled sprinkle sugar and cocoa.
